Zenaido Urtiaran came out of the goal and Wilmer Gutierrez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Primitivo Ruiz hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Quinito Folch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Villacorta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montevideo City Torque's Zenaido Urtiaran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo City Torque from getting a goal against them. Zenaido Urtiaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Jimenez in the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Montevideo City Torque's Quinito Folch got a free kick in the 16th minute. Alberto Jimenez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Zenaido Urtiaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Montevideo City Torque's Zenaido Urtiaran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo City Torque from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinito Folch in the 25th minute of play forced Real Madrid de Guatemala's goalkeeper Shawn Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Real Madrid de Guatemala fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Real Madrid de Guatemala's Ivan Ramos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The audience was convinced that Julio Villacorta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zenaido Urtiaran was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julio Villacorta in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zenaido Urtiaran saved Montevideo City Torque from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Villacorta in the 61st minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Zenaido Urtiaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Real Madrid de Guatemala's goal looked a bit too open when Guilllermo Llamosas came free, but Shawn Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zenaido Urtiaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Jimenez in the 69th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Montevideo City Torque defense, Alberto Jimenez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zenaido Urtiaran. The Montevideo City Torque fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zenaido Urtiaran should have stopped the shot. Enrique Padilla hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Zenaido Urtiaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Ortiz in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Real Madrid de Guatemala getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Sarbelio Mendez hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the game, Quinito Folch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montevideo City Torque's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Madrid de Guatemala the free kick. After 90 played minutes Montevideo City Torque got a freekick which was hit by Quinito Folch. Real Madrid de Guatemala's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
