Remigio Chumo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Israel Contreras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Skill-Park FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Remigio Chumo in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Isidoro Jayvier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, OROTINENSE's Greivin Miranda got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When OROTINENSE's Fabio Pacheco in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Pacheco in the 40th minute of play forced Skill-Park FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Filomeno Gipuzkoa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Israel Contreras was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half OROTINENSE were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remigio Chumo to make the kick off. Leonardo Urdin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabio Pacheco's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Fabio Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Leonardo Urdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Skill-Park FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Isidoro Jayvier hit a great ball. Leonardo Urdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th match minute, OROTINENSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chunche Azofeifa to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute of the match Filomeno Gipuzkoa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Israel Contreras skillfully saved the ball. The Skill-Park FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. OROTINENSE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
