Marion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Secanell in the 14th minute of play. A. Independiente's J.P. Marion. J.P. Marion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The El Pinar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Olazarra should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guib Sota during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Independiente's Roy Huston sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomas Olazarra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. C. A. Independiente were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of El Pinar for a fine match.
