Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Ríver Late's Ariando Oca started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ariando Oca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the game, Ariando Oca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ríver Late's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Halcones Azules the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Ríver Late was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariando Oca to maneuver through the defense. In the 17thth minute of the game Urbano Harriet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ríver Late's Isauro Contero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Halcones Azules's goalkeeper Laureano Gonza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Ríver Late getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bizen Villafuentes hit a great ball. Ariando Oca might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laureano Gonza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ariando Oca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute of the match, Ariando Oca got a very nice opportunity to score, but Laureano Gonza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Ariando Oca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 minutes, Marco Donzel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Halcones Azules and the Ríver Late players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Marco Donzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Chesus Jusino in the 43rd minute really tested Laureano Gonza's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 44 minutes, Jaime Paul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Halcones Azules and the Ríver Late players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Jaime Paul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Marco Donzel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ríver Late's Isauro Contero. Isauro Contero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Urbano Harriet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Andres Feloaga came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ríver Late fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Feloaga couldn't finish the play. After having played for 56 minutes, Ariando Oca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ríver Late's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariando Oca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Gero Arenzana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ríver Late made a substitution. Lorenzo Tordesillas replaced Urtsin Duran. The supporters of Halcones Azules booed when Ríver Late was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gero Arenzana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureano Gonza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bizen Villafuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes Halcones Azules got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Harriet. Ríver Late's Isauro Contero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Harriet in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the Halcones Azules defense, Ariando Oca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laureano Gonza. The Halcones Azules fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laureano Gonza should have stopped the shot. If Urbano Harriet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Halcones Azules getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Anastasio Beltza hit a great ball. Isauro Contero acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 90th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Anastasio Beltza. Maximo Loramendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Maximo Loramendi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Isauro Contero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Harriet in the 95th minute of the match. Ríver Late were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
