After 13 minutes, Ernest Reeder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Waialua and the C.A. GUAYACO players grew even worse after the yellow card. GUAYACO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yader Aramberri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Rich Lawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Mejia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Cabrera didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. GUAYACO were furious when Yader Aramberri was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 60 minutes into the game, one of C.A. GUAYACO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Waialua getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Lonnie Lusk hit a great ball. Erik Cabrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víctor Urioste, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Hugo Mejia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Waialua's Erik Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víctor Urioste in the 77th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Rich Lawson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rich Lawson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rey Villazan made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Víctor Urioste. Víctor Urioste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 97 minutes of play Waialua's Ernest Reeder was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 98th match minute, Waialua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Reeder to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, C.A. GUAYACO failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
