Gotzon Ecija came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Mauricio Corias. But to his dismay, Mauricio Corias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Quijada came free, but Gotzon Ecija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugenio Redondas during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s Quintyn Odoardo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Berenjenas de Punto Fijo. Gotzon Ecija took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Mosquera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Quijada came free, but Gotzon Ecija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes of play, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Cristo Quijada made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hondo Iribarria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Hondo Iribarria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Colado. During the 45th minute of the match Eugenio Redondas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eugenio Redondas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 46th match minute, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Redondas to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quintyn Odoardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hondo Iribarria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Colado in the 57th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Gibaja during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Quintyn Odoardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee ignored Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s protests and gave Ellande Cuñat a yellow card for diving instead. Ellande Cuñat kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Mauricio Corias sped through Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gotzon Ecija. In the 73rd minute Uriel Mayorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hondo Iribarria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luis Colado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Mayorga hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Quintyn Odoardo came free, but Hondo Iribarria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uriel Mayorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hondo Iribarria having to interfere.
