The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Osoitz Baron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Cabrera having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Osoitz Baron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Cabrera was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Waialua's Erik Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osoitz Baron in the 7th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, Andres Feloaga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ríver Late's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Waialua the free kick. After 16 played minutes Ríver Late got a freekick which was hit by Andres Feloaga. Ernest Reeder's late challenge caught a Ríver Late's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernest Reeder helped the player get up and apologised. Erik Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chesus Jusino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osoitz Baron in the 25th minute of the match. If Chesus Jusino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Waialua's goal looked a bit too open when Chesus Jusino came free, but Erik Cabrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chesus Jusino in the 31st minute of the match. Erik Cabrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osoitz Baron, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Chesus Jusino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waialua's Erik Cabrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erik Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osoitz Baron in the 39th minute of play. Erik Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chesus Jusino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, Ríver Late's Chesus Jusino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Cabrera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After the first half Ríver Late were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osoitz Baron to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Chesus Jusino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Cabrera was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Chesus Jusino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Osoitz Baron in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The Ríver Late fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Ríver Late's Osoitz Baron looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Waialua's Ernest Reeder got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the last second Erik Cabrera throw himself and got hold of the ball when Chesus Jusino in the 78thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Chesus Jusino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osoitz Baron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Erik Cabrera made a huge save. Erik Cabrera made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Osoitz Baron sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Chesus Jusino took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Erik Cabrera to make any attempt to save it. Erik Cabrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osoitz Baron, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Ríver Late played a much better game than Waialua and deserved their victory. The Waialua players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
