Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Eduardo Mascareñas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nabar Frontera got free with Zeledon Bravain in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Liga de Quito's Velasco Ilarraza got a free kick in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Liga de Quito's goalkeeper Zeledon Bravain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gelmiro Medeiros. Reimundo Cobides kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Urrutia Tacon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liga de Quito's supporters rose to their feet, but Urrutia Tacon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eutor Pineros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco Balcells's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zeledon Bravain firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zeledon Bravain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelmiro Medeiros in the 40th minute of play. If Nabar Frontera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gelmiro Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. Urrutia Tacon's late challenge caught a Ya Perdimos F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urrutia Tacon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Urrutia Tacon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Ya Perdimos F.C.'s Lluques Guisla seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lluques Guisla the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ya Perdimos F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lluques Guisla had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ya Perdimos F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Zeledon Bravain didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Telo Sudupe went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Urrutia Tacon got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ya Perdimos F.C.'s Xavon Ali was substituted for Xavon Michelena. In the 81st minute, Urrutia Tacon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 minutes, Marco Balcells mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ya Perdimos F.C. and the Liga de Quito players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84th play minutes Gelmiro Medeiros shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Zeledon Bravain and just under the crossbar into goal. Zeledon Bravain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gelmiro Medeiros's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. When Ya Perdimos F.C.'s Gelmiro Medeiros in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liga de Quito's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Ya Perdimos F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
