Pepino’s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Urbistondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Tolhauzsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Epperson in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, C.D. Pepino’s's Tanio Solorzano got a free kick in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Vogt in the 7th minute of play forced C.D. Pepino’s's goalkeeper Domingo Tolhauzsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, C.D. Pepino’s's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Herget came free, but Domingo Tolhauzsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to C.D. Pepino’s getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Nahuel Briones hit a great ball. Anton Ragsdale was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tango en Miami FC! Gregorio Epperson kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Alexandro Cabedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Reces Mondaca made the kick off in the second half. Domingo Tolhauzsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Epperson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Domingo Tolhauzsen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Xabel Wood scored 2-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robbie Kaufman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Tango en Miami FC's Romeo Lujan got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.D. Pepino’s's goalkeeper Domingo Tolhauzsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of C.D. Gregorio Epperson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tanio Solorzano kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Alexandro Cabedo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. A collision led to C.D. Pepino’s getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Mercurio Isasiguia hit a great ball. Alexandro Cabedo made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tanio Solorzano. Robbie Kaufman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reces Mondaca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tango en Miami FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because C.D. Pepino’s had won, even though Tango en Miami FC had held more of the ball.
