DALO S.C.'s Oscar Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermes Pinilla hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Daniel Salvadios had several of the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Milton Diaz as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a little luck, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Milton Diaz got control of the ball when Daniel Salvadios tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 40 played minutes ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ got a freekick which was hit by Wiliam Morris. In the 41st minute, Ximun Arichaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ximun Arichaga struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Milton Diaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DALO S.C..

►Las Mercedes F.C◄ made a substitution. Eduardo Gómez replaced Raul Brandao. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Salvadios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, DALO S.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eduardo Gómez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Samaniego Centenales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio De Leon in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of DALO S.C. booed when ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio De Leon didn't get a good kick on the ball. DALO S.C.'s Samaniego Centenales proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save DALO S.C. from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Gómez got free with Samaniego Centenales in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
