The supporters of GiudeCCa booed when Carqueja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Renedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asensio Riego stood somewhat misplaced when Lope Villandiego came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. With his leg Asensio Riego managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Carqueja's Lope Villandiego fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Asensio Riego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benvido Bello's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Damaso Tejeyra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Asensio Riego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Urki Olivera took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Asensio Riego to make any attempt to save it. When Carqueja's Benvido Bello in 36 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Asensio Riego guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
In the 51st match minute, GiudeCCa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Beamud to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Iratxo Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carqueja's supporters rose to their feet, but Iratxo Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asensio Riego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Asensio Riego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benvido Bello in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Carqueja's Lope Villandiego nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Asensio Riego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Urki Olivera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. GiudeCCa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carqueja the free kick. Asensio Riego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urki Olivera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peruanton Lago struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Asensio Riego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carqueja. After some careless play in the GiudeCCa defense, Lope Villandiego kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Asensio Riego. The GiudeCCa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Asensio Riego should have stopped the shot. Asensio Riego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lope Villandiego, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 94 minutes into the game, Ariel Renedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carqueja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GiudeCCa the free kick. After 94 played minutes Carqueja got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Renedo. When the referee ended the match the Carqueja players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
