An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Albis in the 17th minute of play forced deportivo madrid's goalkeeper Arnulfo Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Felipe Todor with Gilberto Tiadoro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Justino Marasso kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Arnulfo Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Siengelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.
