Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dei Ibarlucea kicked off to start the match. After 6 played minutes ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Ramos. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Dei Ibarlucea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Maturrango's supporters rose to their feet, but Dei Ibarlucea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Milton Diaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermes Pinilla might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Platas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermes Pinilla ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice moves Dei Ibarlucea could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Milton Diaz however easily saved by the left post. In the 15th minute Hermes Pinilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Platas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Platas came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Hermes Pinilla. But to his dismay, Hermes Pinilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio De Leon in the 21st minute of play forced Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Raul Platas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eufemio Zugarrondo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Raul Platas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Brandao in the 27th minute of play forced Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Raul Platas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Platas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermes Pinilla in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Atletico Maturrango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaxen Cuadro to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Hermes Pinilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Platas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Eufemio Zugarrondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Julio De Leon notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Atletico Maturrango's Raul Platas. Raul Platas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raul Brandao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Platas having to interfere. If Dei Ibarlucea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ booed when Atletico Maturrango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jax Mendana didn't get a good kick on the ball. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Heraclides Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raul Brandao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Raul Platas made a huge save. Raul Platas was a little too slow when Julio De Leon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-3. Raul Platas made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Hermes Pinilla sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Julio De Leon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raul Platas. That made the score 0-4 in the 72 minute of play. Fidencio Antezana kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Raul Brandao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Raul Platas made a huge save. When Atletico Maturrango's Hulberto Arias in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Atletico Maturrango booed when ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hulberto Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Milton Diaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Dei Ibarlucea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Maturrango and the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Atletico Maturrango getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dei Ibarlucea hit a great ball. Raul Platas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio De Leon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
