An unexpectedly hard shot by Ray Peña in the 12th minute of play forced La Mandarina Mecánica's goalkeeper Fulgencio Abajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Fermin Abella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulgencio Abajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Sanchez in the 19th minute of play. La Mandarina Mecánica's Fulgencio Abajas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermelando Berraondo in the 22nd minute of play. La Mandarina Mecánica's Teodor Abendano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Timoteo Tornamira in the 24 minute of the game. After 26 minutes, Mitxel Botas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rayland FC and the La Mandarina Mecánica players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Mandarina Mecánica booed when Rayland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitxel Botas didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Fermin Abella from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Erauso Septiem's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 31 played minutes Rayland FC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Sanchez. Teofilo Sanchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Abajas having to interfere. A collision led to La Mandarina Mecánica getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Fermin Abella hit a great ball. After some careless play in the La Mandarina Mecánica defense, Ray Peña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulgencio Abajas. The La Mandarina Mecánica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulgencio Abajas should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, La Mandarina Mecánica's goal looked a bit too open when Ray Peña came free, but Fulgencio Abajas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

In the 51st minute Tibalt Abellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erauso Septiem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
