Wes Mejia started the match with the kick off. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Simon Reed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Libertad in the 6th minute of play. In the 13th minute Marcelo Elia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Reed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Joel Libertad sped through ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Simon Reed. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Simon Reed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Libertad in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Libertad in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Reed prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iker Darien made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kip Velazquez in the 29th minute. Kip Velazquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Iker Darien made a huge save. In the 37th match minute, Tiburones Rojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Hondo to maneuver through the defense. Tiburones Rojos's Iker Darien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joey Arellano in the 39th minute of play. Iker Darien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wes Mejia in the 41st minute of the match. When Joel Libertad came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Tiburones Rojos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Libertad couldn't finish the play. After the first half Tiburones Rojos were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Libertad to make the kick off. When Daren Farrell fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s protests and gave Daren Farrell a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daren Farrell to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 52 minutes, Clemente Hondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiburones Rojos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Hondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Tiburones Rojos fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Tiburones Rojos's Joel Libertad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ronnie Sutherland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kip Velazquez charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kip Velazquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kip Velazquez to maneuver through the defense. Iker Darien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kip Velazquez in the 66th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Manuel Guipuzkoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tiburones Rojos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ the free kick. The supporters of ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ booed when Tiburones Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Guipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iker Darien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wes Mejia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronnie Sutherland's late challenge caught a Tiburones Rojos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronnie Sutherland helped the player get up and apologised. The Tiburones Rojos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tiburones Rojos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
