After 9 played minutes Kalatakaya F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Xabat Abaurre. Saritama Durana was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Arotza Abajas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arotza Abajas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Jesus Gargollo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Espiridion Abecia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goal looked a bit too open when Etxahun Abastas came free, but Saritama Durana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Chandivilla's late challenge caught a Kalatakaya F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Chandivilla helped the player get up and apologised. Paulo Chandivilla kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Red Reign got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Chandivilla. 31 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Gargollo came free, but Espiridion Abecia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Red Reign's Saritama Durana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arotza Abajas in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Kalatakaya F.C. getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Etxahun Abastas hit a great ball. Dantel Abaunza hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With 37 minutes on the clock, Javier Barricat commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 38th minute, Javier Barricat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 40 minutes, Xabat Abaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalatakaya F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Xabat Abaurre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Red Reign defense, Arotza Abajas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saritama Durana. The Red Reign fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saritama Durana should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bohórquez Erauzquin during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bohórquez Erauzquin to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Xabat Abaurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Espiridion Abecia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Gallardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes Red Reign got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Gallardo. A collision led to Kalatakaya F.C. getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Xabat Abaurre hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Arotza Abajas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saritama Durana. Red Reign's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arotza Abajas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of Kalatakaya F.C. booed when Red Reign was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Gallardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arias Deleon hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Red Reign's Pedro Coz got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Dantel Abaunza was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Kalatakaya F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
