In the 32nd minute, Colon Mestre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celestino Villamañan made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Duardo Bolantin sent off a good shot on target.
