The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniel Gallardo got his second yellow card in the match during the 10th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Saritama Durana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boni Abeita in the 11th minute. Evaristo Abadia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jesus Gargollo went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 0-2 became the score in the 19th minute when Jesus Gargollo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Chuquisaca got a freekick which was hit by Pancho Abeitia. Paulo Chandivilla hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Jesus Gargollo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Abadia. Chuquisaca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jesus Gargollo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Evaristo Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bohórquez Erauzquin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, Red Reign's Jesus Gargollo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evaristo Abadia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 47 minutes into the match, Jesus Gargollo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Abadia. Chuquisaca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jesus Gargollo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cresconio Abella stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chuquisaca's Evaristo Abadia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Chuquisaca from getting a goal against them. Evaristo Abadia was a little too slow when Jesus Gargollo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-6. The supporters of Chuquisaca booed when Red Reign was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Boñal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cresconio Abella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saritama Durana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austin Abaunza in the 69th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Jesus Gargollo put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Evaristo Abadia. The supporters of Red Reign booed when Chuquisaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boni Abeita didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Chuquisaca's Evaristo Abadia got control of the ball when Bohórquez Erauzquin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Austin Abaunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saritama Durana having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Esteban Boñal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Reign's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chuquisaca the free kick. 83 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goal looked a bit too open when Boni Abeita came free, but Saritama Durana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Chandivilla hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute of the match Ebardo Abecia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saritama Durana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Red Reign played a much better game than Chuquisaca and deserved their victory. The Chuquisaca players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
