Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Cordarrol Tama made the kick off and thus started the match. Bobby Fisher's late challenge caught a Club Olimpia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bobby Fisher helped the player get up and apologised. Bobby Fisher hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Club Olimpia's Sol Solano got a free kick in the 7th minute. A collision led to Club Olimpia getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Niva Azpiazu hit a great ball. Jose-Antonio Nuncibay might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Darin Marks. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jose-Antonio Nuncibay ran back to his position shaking his head. After 19 played minutes C. A. Pipon Pipon got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Irvin. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Niva Azpiazu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Olimpia's supporters rose to their feet, but Niva Azpiazu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darin Marks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the game, Bobby Fisher cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Toli Buron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Club Olimpia's Toli Buron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Sewell in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Cordarrol Tama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darin Marks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santana Bidania kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Raphael Houser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Toli Buron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Cordarrol Tama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darin Marks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Olimpia booed when C. A. Pipon Pipon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Preston McCarthy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darin Marks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eutor Dosal in the 45th minute of play. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Darin Marks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarrol Tama in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Pancho Cabeza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Pipon Pipon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Olimpia the free kick. In the 47th match minute, C. A. Pipon Pipon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pancho Cabeza to maneuver through the defense. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Landon Vogt was substituted for Kerry Lancaster. C. A. Pipon Pipon made a substitution. Foster Romero replaced Thaddeus Wiley. Pancho Cabeza kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bobby Fisher made a kick off. Cordarrol Tama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Foster Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Foster Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cordarrol Tama who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Darin Marks when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Darin Marks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordarrol Tama, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Santana Bidania kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Toli Buron, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Preston McCarthy got a free kick in the 96th minute. Eutor Dosal, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Niva Azpiazu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darin Marks having to make a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Olimpia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
