The referee ignored Equipo's protests and gave Alonzo Barros a yellow card for diving instead. Alonzo Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bobby Fisher got free with Orlando Leoiar in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orlando Leoiar stood somewhat misplaced when Bobby Fisher came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 33 minute. Colin Mock kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. When Prospero Leobardo came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Equipo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Leobardo couldn't finish the play. After 43 played minutes Bobby Fisher shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Equipo's Orlando Leoiar to catch but Bobby Fisher was lucky. It became 2-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ildefonso Celino made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Equipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Barros to maneuver through the defense. When Leonardo Jaume fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Equipo's protests and gave Leonardo Jaume a yellow card for diving instead. Marcos Sewell was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Marcos Sewell hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Darin Marks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ildefonso Celino in the 69th minute. Raphael Houser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Orlando Leoiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
