Santos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Pipon Pipon the free kick. A collision led to Santos FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Darrell Nava hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Sewell in the 14th minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Rusty Little to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bobby Fisher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, C. A. Pipon Pipon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Houser to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers J.P. Delarosa in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Landon Vogt saved C. A. Pipon Pipon from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamar Burton in the 28th minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Landon Vogt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Pipon Pipon's zone, J.P. Delarosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Landon Vogt came out of the goal and J.P. Delarosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thaddeus Wiley kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Bobby Fisher hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The supporters of C. A. Pipon Pipon booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Burr didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Rickie Andrews was substituted for Thaddeus Wiley. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Finn to make the kick off. Landon Vogt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Finn in the 55th minute of the match. With a little luck, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Landon Vogt got control of the ball when Milton Heath tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Lawrence Smart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pipon Pipon's Rickie Andrews got a free kick in the 85th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 88 minutes into the game, when Denis Crow put in a rough tackle. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C. A. Pipon Pipon! Bobby Fisher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rusty Little having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Jamar Burton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Santos FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
