Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Patricio Garviras started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Rubio Pando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubio Pando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 4 played minutes Colo-Colo got a freekick which was hit by Washington Davalos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Garviras in the 5th minute of play forced Colo-Colo's goalkeeper Vinicio Pérez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Colo-Colo's goal looked a bit too open when Rubio Pando came free, but Vinicio Pérez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colo-Colo's Vinicio Pérez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Garviras in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Colo-Colo getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Andrés Warnes hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Isaac Figueiras shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vinicio Pérez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Imperio Catatumbo de Lara reached it. A collision led to Imperio Catatumbo de Lara getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Gomez Antia hit a great ball. Vinicio Pérez came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Isaac Figueiras. But to his dismay, Isaac Figueiras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rubio Pando scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vinicio Pérez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Colo-Colo's Vinicio Pérez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Figueiras in the 35th minute of play. Zoil Peregrin was a little too slow when Victor Hugo Federici got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-2. After having played for 41 minutes, Victor Hugo Federici managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colo-Colo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Hugo Federici was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matteo Escuti made a kick off. Zoil Peregrin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Hugo Federici in the 51st minute of play. Raebert Manzano charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raebert Manzano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Imperio Catatumbo de Lara getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Raebert Manzano hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Matteo Escuti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zoil Peregrin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Imperio Catatumbo de Lara getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Mancio Estevis hit a great ball. In the 70th match minute, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mancio Estevis to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Colo-Colo's Norberto Portillo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Colo-Colo's Uriel Salcedo was substituted for Norberto Portillo. With a little luck, Colo-Colo's Vinicio Pérez got control of the ball when Patricio Garviras tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zoil Peregrin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Davalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nafarroa Quililongo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nafarroa Quililongo succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. After 93 minutes, Andrés Warnes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colo-Colo and the Imperio Catatumbo de Lara players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Imperio Catatumbo de Lara booed when Colo-Colo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrés Warnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Isaac Figueiras came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Imperio Catatumbo de Lara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Figueiras couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Colo-Colo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Imperio Catatumbo de Lara had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
