Amado Bonifaco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Gana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goalkeeper Teodosio Cerda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Mateo. Victor Azeari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Teodosio Cerda made a huge save. After 22nd play minutes José Antonio Porras shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Amado Bonifaco and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Fractal FC's Ernesto Gitano got a free kick in the 31st minute. Fractal FC's Amado Bonifaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Gana in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Clemencín Varas got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 38 minutes, Aurelius Macuer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportes Santa Cruz and the Fractal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Bruno Mateo came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Fractal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Mateo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Antonio Porras in the 41st minute of play forced Fractal FC's goalkeeper Amado Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Mateo to make the kick off. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fractal FC the free kick. 66 minutes into the match, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Cambranes came free, but Teodosio Cerda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amado Bonifaco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Gana in the 68th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Antonio Porras in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Bonifaco saved Fractal FC from getting behind. After 81 played minutes Club Deportes Santa Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Sebastián Garfias. In the 87th minute, Ernesto Gitano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodosio Cerda was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 91 minutes into the match, Fractal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clemencín Varas came free, but Amado Bonifaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Abel Gana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 98 minutes into the match, Abel Gana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amado Bonifaco. Fractal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Gana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Fractal FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Deportes Santa Cruz for a fine match.
