Boyce Funk charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boyce Funk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of West Town SC booed when Inmortales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyce Funk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Winkler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xian Olmedilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Inmortales FC booed when West Town SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xabier Cariga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Cormier hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Inmortales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xabier Cariga came free, but Rolando Winkler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximo Marine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Winkler having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Inmortales FC got a freekick which was hit by Tod Clark. Rolando Winkler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xian Olmedilla went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 29 played minutes Inmortales FC got a freekick which was hit by Rory Pruett. Rolando Winkler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xian Olmedilla in the 31st minute of play. Rolando Winkler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neicer Pesquera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Xulio Barroiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Winkler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Winkler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xulio Barroiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Mike Travis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inmortales FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mike Travis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Entia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zack Sneed hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half West Town SC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otis Robles to make the kick off. Otis Robles hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Inmortales FC's Rolando Winkler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Inmortales FC from getting a goal against them. In the 57th match minute, Inmortales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Travis to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Otis Robles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inmortales FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Otis Robles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Winkler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xian Olmedilla in the 67th minute of the match. Inmortales FC's Royce Dwyer got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Winkler made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Fernando Oceta sent off a good shot on target. Neicer Pesquera charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neicer Pesquera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, West Town SC's Neicer Pesquera got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Xian Olmedilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded West Town SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Inmortales FC.
