Domingo Abeijon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Alvarez in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Domingo Abeijon got control of the ball when Gabriel Brizuela tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute, GuateFortín's Juan Manuel Martínez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 40th minute, Javiar Abadia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pepsi Fuchibol Clu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 44th minute of the match Gabriel Brizuela shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domingo Abeijon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Pepsi Fuchibol Clu getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Olivar Abel hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Manuel Martínez to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Jorge Collado got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Juan Manuel Martínez sped through Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Domingo Abeijon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Alvarez in the 65th minute of play forced Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's goalkeeper Domingo Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingo Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Valenzuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Juan Manuel Martínez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Abeijon was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. GuateFortín made a substitution. Ruben Toledano replaced Gabriel Brizuela. GuateFortín made a substitution. Gilberto Escobar replaced Jorge Collado. Qwinton Abadie's late challenge caught a GuateFortín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingo Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 87th match minute, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan-Alfredo Abel to maneuver through the defense. Domingo Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Mora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Elias Talia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domingo Abeijon. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Talia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. German Montoya was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Javiar Abadia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Javiar Abadia really showed his touch with that goal: 5-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pepsi Fuchibol Clu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GuateFortín.
