The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clemencín Varas to strike the kick off in the second half. Domingo Abeijon made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Clemencín Varas sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Plácido Donoso could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Domingo Abeijon however easily saved by the left post. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Domingo Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Backhouse in the 76th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Club Deportes Santa Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Pimentel. Domingo Abeijon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
