Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ipar Monzonis kicked off to start the match. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Calvet Babia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 7th match minute, Valle Saron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joey Lugunez to maneuver through the defense. Ipar Monzonis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Calvet Babia came out and tried to block the shot, but Ipar Monzonis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Ipar Monzonis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donatello Barajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Menendez in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ipar Monzonis in the 22nd minute of play forced Valle Saron's goalkeeper Calvet Babia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Valle Saron's Elpidio Menendez got a free kick in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rey Villarragut in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donatello Barajo saved Club Dep. Soc. Rodo from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elpidio Menendez in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donatello Barajo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Donatello Barajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rey Villarragut in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th minute Rey Villarragut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donatello Barajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donatello Barajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Menendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Rey Villarragut scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donatello Barajo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vidal Ximeno got free with Calvet Babia in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Rey Villarragut made the kick off in the second half. Calvet Babia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan-Carlos Otero went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rey Villarragut got free with Donatello Barajo in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, Valle Saron's Joey Lugunez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Donatello Barajo. Donatello Barajo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Donatello Barajo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rey Villarragut in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Vidal Ximeno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valle Saron the free kick. Calvet Babia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ipar Monzonis in the 72nd minute of play. Joey Lugunez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Donatello Barajo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelino Sarmanton during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Dep. Soc. Rodo booed when Valle Saron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Sarmanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Gonchan Marisancena sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Valle Saron's Calvet Babia didn't even have to move. The supporters of Club Dep. Soc. Rodo booed when Valle Saron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Sarmanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Ipar Monzonis notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Valle Saron's Calvet Babia. Calvet Babia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elpidio Menendez's late challenge caught a Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elpidio Menendez helped the player get up and apologised. For all the effort they put into the match, the Valle Saron players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Dep. Soc. Rodo.
