The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Efraim Mill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loren Iriarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, MILLONARIOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leobardo Turienzo to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Eneko Olañeta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Devis Vásquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the match, Aioros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Gigante came free, but Efraim Mill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Devis Vásquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iban Agosto in the 28th minute of the match. After 33 played minutes Aioros FC got a freekick which was hit by Eneko Cardarda. Loren Iriarte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Efraim Mill having to make a save. Loren Iriarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efraim Mill having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iban Agosto came free, but Devis Vásquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 played minutes MILLONARIOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Stanislao Brau. Aioros FC's Eneko Olañeta got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

With a little luck, Aioros FC's Efraim Mill got control of the ball when Gutierre Agriano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 59 played minutes Aioros FC got a freekick which was hit by Eneko Olañeta. 64 minutes into the game, Gutierre Agriano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Efraim Mill was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. MILLONARIOS FC were furious when Stanislao Brau was red carded, 71 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to MILLONARIOS FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Stanislao Brau hit a great ball. Gutierre Agriano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Efraim Mill came out and tried to block the shot, but Gutierre Agriano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 75th minute. Txatxu Blazquez hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The supporters of Aioros FC booed when MILLONARIOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leobardo Turienzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferdinand Canellas during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. MILLONARIOS FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
