After 3 played minutes Texeira Noceda rounded Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 6 minutes of play, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Perlaza Corcoba made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. López Enciso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th minute of the match George Galera sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but López Enciso skillfully saved the ball. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Fabio Ponce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato from getting a goal against them. Hector-Luis Cadrecha charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector-Luis Cadrecha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th match minute, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector-Luis Cadrecha to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Texeira Noceda got free with Fabio Ponce in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabio Ponce was a little too slow when Texeira Noceda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-2. Perlaza Corcoba hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Perlaza Corcoba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Perlaza Corcoba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 minutes of play, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Perlaza Corcoba made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Ponce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Buitrago, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Zornin Calona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. López Enciso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hector-Luis Cadrecha's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Lombera came free, but Fabio Ponce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Loja S.C.'s goalkeeper López Enciso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Perlaza Corcoba. When the match was over Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Loja S.C. throughout the match.
