After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Jonathan Aviñante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Aviñante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juste Reynolds breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Varennes's Juste Reynolds played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iaki Constante in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Varennes's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Aviñante came free, but Juste Reynolds reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Ramon lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After some careless play in the Rapsodas Red Devils FC defense, Rudy Cherry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esquipula Bellmunt. The Rapsodas Red Devils FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esquipula Bellmunt should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Varennes's zone, Jonathan Aviñante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juste Reynolds came out of the goal and Jonathan Aviñante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Aviñante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juste Reynolds was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 85th match minute, Varennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tristan Lambert to maneuver through the defense.
