After 2 played minutes U. de Tarapacá got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrada. With a little luck, U. de Tarapacá's Fidelio Herboso got control of the ball when Emilio Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fidelio Herboso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Valle in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute, Teo Angostina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Javier Carreto hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes U. de Tarapacá got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Astudillo. Fidelio Herboso made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Seth Troxler sent off a good shot on target. Vasco Bustio's late challenge caught a U. de Tarapacá's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasco Bustio helped the player get up and apologised. Miren Guilisasti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, José Alberto Alonso notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Club Ibiza's Ixona Ilarraza. Ixona Ilarraza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 38 minutes into the game, U. de Tarapacá's Miren Guilisasti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ixona Ilarraza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, José Alberto Alonso put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ixona Ilarraza. Fidelio Herboso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justo Mas in the 46th minute. After the first half U. de Tarapacá were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when José Alberto Alonso made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Club Ibiza's Jorrin Ovalle got a free kick in the 50th minute. With a little luck, Club Ibiza's Ixona Ilarraza got control of the ball when Ismael Irisarri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fidelio Herboso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Mas, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Mas in the 75th minute of play forced U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Fidelio Herboso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justo Mas in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidelio Herboso saved U. de Tarapacá from getting behind. With a little luck, Club Ibiza's Ixona Ilarraza got control of the ball when Emanuel Pozo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 79 minutes Club Ibiza's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rodrigo Astudillo who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Emanuel Pozo got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-4. 80 minutes into the match. Ixona Ilarraza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Alberto Alonso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 83 minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Emanuel Pozo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U. de Tarapacá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Ibiza the free kick. In the 89th minute, Emanuel Pozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 minutes of play, Club Ibiza's Seth Troxler made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fidelio Herboso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Ibiza's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Miren Guilisasti 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-6. Although Club Ibiza had been in control for most of the match, U. de Tarapacá still came away with the win.
