The score was now 1-0. Jed Burris hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 10 minutes of play, Azul Y Plomo's Reynaldo Håland made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henry Reid was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute Antoine Hargrove shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hidalgo Barrionuevo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Cevallo took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henry Reid. Henry Reid dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 21 minutes into the game, Cyrus Aquino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ocean Park Beach FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azul Y Plomo the free kick. After 21 played minutes Ocean Park Beach FC got a freekick which was hit by Cyrus Aquino. Ocean Park Beach FC's Henry Reid proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Ocean Park Beach FC from getting a goal against them. Antoine Hargrove kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Francisco Carabia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Henry Reid was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Ocean Park Beach FC's zone, Alfredo Cevallo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Reid came out of the goal and Alfredo Cevallo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ocean Park Beach FC's Henry Reid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Carabia in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th minute, Reynaldo Håland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute Francisco Carabia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Reid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Young Kimbrough made the kick off in the second half. Hidalgo Barrionuevo made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Young Kimbrough sent off a good shot on target. Azul Y Plomo's Hidalgo Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoine Hargrove in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Carabia in the 64th minute of play forced Ocean Park Beach FC's goalkeeper Henry Reid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Roberto Aliceda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Reid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ocean Park Beach FC defense, Alfredo Cevallo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Reid. The Ocean Park Beach FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Reid should have stopped the shot. Henry Reid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Cevallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Reid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Carabia's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. When Antoine Hargrove was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. Antoine Hargrove hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The supporters of Azul Y Plomo booed when Ocean Park Beach FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyrus Aquino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Azul Y Plomo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
