Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Keilor Volio made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 played minutes CSD Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Novajas. Jonny Elizondo, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. CSD Concepción's Marino Alzola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keilor Volio in the 9th minute of play. Jonny Elizondo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Baraquiel Markmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the game, Keilor Volio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Marino Alzola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Barros in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elton Tolaba saved CD SHETTANI from getting behind. CSD Concepción were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after CD SHETTANI's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Niceto Serrano took the corner. Bernie Sanabria's late challenge caught a CSD Concepción's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernie Sanabria helped the player get up and apologised. Bernie Sanabria hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Elton Tolaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Barros in the 27th minute of play. After 39 played minutes CD SHETTANI got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Chaverri. Santiago Macuer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Elton Tolaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Teofilo Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSD Concepción fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Elton Tolaba was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Teofilo Barros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teofilo Barros really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in CD SHETTANI's zone, Niceto Serrano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elton Tolaba came out of the goal and Niceto Serrano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, Eduard Novajas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSD Concepción's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD SHETTANI the free kick. A collision led to CSD Concepción getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Eduard Novajas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, CD SHETTANI's Yossi Clavo got a free kick in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, CD SHETTANI's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Serrano came free, but Elton Tolaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yossi Clavo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 played minutes CD SHETTANI got a freekick which was hit by Maikol Matute. CSD Concepción's Jaume Balcazar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Braulio Barquero, made in the 90th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Reynaldo Chaverri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Teofilo Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CSD Concepción's Eduard Novajas got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Eduard Novajas off the ground. After a rather tough play, CSD Concepción's Eduard Novajas got a free kick in the 96th minute. The CSD Concepción supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CSD Concepción would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
