Irving Dennis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Morris, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Flamengo de San Blás's Francesco Morris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flamengo de San Blás's Edgardo Murillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfred Fleming in the 22nd minute of play. Edgardo Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfred Fleming, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd match minute, Sport Lisboa e Benfica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neal Dyer to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Fernández's late challenge caught a Sport Lisboa e Benfica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilfred Fleming in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgardo Murillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgardo Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baptiste Beck, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Irving Dennis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Zambrano, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Fernando Zambrano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The wind increased when Francesco Morris made the kick off in the second half. Fernando Zambrano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Irving Dennis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Wilfred Fleming received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Edgardo Murillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Irving Dennis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Lisboa e Benfica from getting a goal against them. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the game, Reinaldo Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Irving Dennis. Reinaldo Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Fernando Zambrano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Irving Dennis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flamengo de San Blás's Felipe Carranza was substituted for Jorge Fernández. Edgardo Murillo came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Baptiste Beck. But to his dismay, Baptiste Beck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 82nd match minute, Flamengo de San Blás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco Morris to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes Flamengo de San Blás got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Morris. Felipe Carranza hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Georges Christopher couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Flamengo de San Blás.
