When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, De-Jesús Sorrarain took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ortzi Aleja to make any attempt to save it. 14 minutes into the game, Xaiver Folguera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Programayin the free kick. A collision led to RomoLerouX UniteD UXX getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Xaiver Folguera hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Machado Rois ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ortzi Aleja. Ortzi Aleja yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Xaiver Folguera hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Careaga in the 28th minute of play forced RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's goalkeeper Noriega Fasgar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Eguen Catalan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noriega Fasgar was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 34 minutes into the game, Machado Rois recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ortzi Aleja. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Machado Rois made a kick off. Xaiver Folguera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. De-Jesús Sorrarain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ortzi Aleja having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Xaiver Folguera made a precise shot to the right of Ortzi Aleja. Programayin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Pecina in the 63rd minute of play forced RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's goalkeeper Noriega Fasgar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by De-Jesús Sorrarain during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, De-Jesús Sorrarain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Mendoza Oro was substituted for Pablo Irizarry. After 65 played minutes RomoLerouX UniteD UXX got a freekick which was hit by De-Jesús Sorrarain. Noriega Fasgar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gelmiro Garantos. De-Jesús Sorrarain hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Noriega Fasgar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Careaga in the 70th minute of play. If De-Jesús Sorrarain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Bonifacio Pecina took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Noriega Fasgar to make any attempt to save it. If Santo Careaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Programayin's Oihan Onis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Noriega Fasgar. Noriega Fasgar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. In the 88th minute Ismael Quiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ortzi Aleja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of RomoLerouX UniteD UXX booed when Programayin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igon Cancela didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for RomoLerouX UniteD UXX. Castro Mas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ortzi Aleja. 5-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Programayin players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RomoLerouX UniteD UXX.
