Santiago Macuer was extremely unlucky when he, in the 3rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 7th minute, Luis María Camacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peruanton Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Macuer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The CSD Concepción fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 18 minutes, Alberto Terrazas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chigüires De Mogadiscio and the CSD Concepción players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberto Terrazas hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Santiago Macuer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marino Alzola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claus Vellon in the 24th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Chigüires De Mogadiscio got a freekick which was hit by Rolado Baez. After 30 played minutes Chigüires De Mogadiscio got a freekick which was hit by Urritz Planes. Jaume Balcazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peruanton Gayoso having to interfere. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Peruanton Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Chigüires De Mogadiscio from getting a goal against them. Claus Vellon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marino Alzola having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claus Vellon was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Barros came free, but Peruanton Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teofilo Barros in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peruanton Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Peruanton Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Barros in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Barros in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peruanton Gayoso saved Chigüires De Mogadiscio from getting behind. Peruanton Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Claus Vellon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaume Balcazar struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Peruanton Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSD Concepción. When Teofilo Barros came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the CSD Concepción fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Barros couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Chigüires De Mogadiscio getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Xavieon Diguja hit a great ball. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chigüires De Mogadiscio's goalkeeper Peruanton Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 93 played minutes CSD Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Ricard Semir. If Claus Vellon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CSD Concepción were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chigüires De Mogadiscio for a fine match.
