Sotomayor Sanes's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sotomayor Sanes helped the player get up and apologised. Sotomayor Sanes kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 6 played minutes, Racing Club's Ivan Felipo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joffre Viñambres came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Racing Club reached it. The audience cheered when Ivan Felipo's long shot passed Joffre Viñambres's right side. It was 1-0, 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute of the match, Ezequiel Pero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joffre Viñambres saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 10 minutes Eléctricos F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ivan Felipo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Racing Club's Ubaldo Bento getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 17th minute Xacintu Davalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Quirze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Quirze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Noceda, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Ramos Berrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Quirze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Racing Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eléctricos F.C.'s Sotomayor Sanes got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Sotomayor Sanes off the ground. After 46 played minutes Eléctricos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sotomayor Sanes. Angelo Sayvion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Joffre Viñambres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramos Berrio made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Pavel Noceda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Damian Quirze. That made the score 1-1 in the 54 minute of play. Racing Club's Ezequiel Pero got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damian Quirze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramos Berrio in the 62nd minute of play. Eléctricos F.C.'s Joffre Viñambres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Sayvion in the 65th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Edwin Verdes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Sayvion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joffre Viñambres having to interfere. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ramos Berrio sped through Racing Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damian Quirze. 84 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goalkeeper Damian Quirze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentim Uja. Edwin Verdes got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Edwin Verdes hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. A collision led to Eléctricos F.C. getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ramos Berrio hit a great ball. Angelo Sayvion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Angelo Sayvion came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Sayvion couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Eléctricos F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Racing Club.
