Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mauricio Panero got the match started through his kick off. Francisco Abel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gaufred Sagarteguieta. Nacional's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Racing Club's Dante Polo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Anselmo Llantada, made in the 12th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Astor Servando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Angelo Sayvion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacional the free kick. After 28 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Sayvion. Dante Polo charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dante Polo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Nacional booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Polo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauricio Panero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Damian Quirze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Sayvion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Mauricio Panero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Panero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Quirze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Nacional booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Baladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Racing Club's Dante Polo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zenon Señor, made in the 46th minute of the game. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Damian Quirze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mendebal Larrechi in the 51st minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Mauricio Panero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Damian Quirze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mendebal Larrechi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Francisco Abel got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Sayvion came free, but Gaufred Sagarteguieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Quirze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Panero in the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Mauricio Panero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Quirze came out of the goal and Mauricio Panero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Quirze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Panero in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Mendebal Larrechi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Quirze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Quirze came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional's Mendebal Larrechi. But to his dismay, Mendebal Larrechi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Despite being the better team, Nacional failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
