Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erubiel Sesse got the match started through his kick off. In the 10th minute, Elkin Calle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute of the match Amado Mas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eron Reguer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 12 minutes, Bairon Bernales mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter de Chillán and the Penuel Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Inter de Chillán getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Bairon Bernales hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Niceto Ovalle notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Inter de Chillán's Basilio Dragicevic. Basilio Dragicevic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, Erubiel Sesse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Dragicevic was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Niceto Ovalle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Penuel Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Rast came free, but Eron Reguer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eron Reguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Gillan, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Sesse came free, but Basilio Dragicevic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaston Mielgo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Rast in the 43rd minute of play forced Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper Eron Reguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 51st minute Erubiel Sesse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Dragicevic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eron Reguer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eriberto Rast in the 54th minute. A collision led to Inter de Chillán getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Amado Mas hit a great ball. Erubiel Sesse shot from long distance after 58 played minutes, a shot that Basilio Dragicevic with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Sesse came free, but Basilio Dragicevic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Diego Osorio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Penuel Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Basilio Dragicevic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Ovalle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bairon Bernales kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Penuel Football Club's Inocente Sayago was substituted for Munio Larrieta. Penuel Football Club made a substitution. Aldo Castrillo replaced Aires Viña. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clemencín Celis during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Inter de Chillán getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Clemencín Celis hit a great ball. Penuel Football Club's Eron Reguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Gillan in the 81st minute of play. If Niceto Ovalle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilio Dragicevic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niceto Ovalle's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Niceto Ovalle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inter de Chillán's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
