Silvano Benat came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Penuel Football Club's Jorge Rojas. But to his dismay, Jorge Rojas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Ramos Cuyar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eron Reguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Calvet, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute of the match, Cecilio Afonso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eron Reguer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hermosillo FC's Silvano Benat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramos Cuyar in the 20th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Hermosillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Endura. Silvano Benat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Gaston Mielgo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvano Benat. Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 30 minutes, Aquiles Bladi mouthed his way into the referee's book. Hermosillo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Rojas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 38 minutes into the game, Mateo Primeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hermosillo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Penuel Football Club the free kick. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramos Cuyar to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Silvano Benat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ramos Cuyar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Benat having to interfere. Jorge Rojas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Penuel Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Afonso came free, but Eron Reguer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
