Adolfo Cordarrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Maguire in the 14th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Modestio came free, but Leonel Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nino Maravilha in the 26th minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Cordarrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Cordarrell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerry Maguire in the 32nd minute. Anselmo Telmo charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Telmo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Anselmo Telmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ursino Cabero charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After having played for 44 minutes, German Herensuge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vikingos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Herensuge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desiderio Modestio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nino Maravilha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Rogelio Iraido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vikingos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zorros del Desierto the free kick. A collision led to Vikingos FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rogelio Iraido hit a great ball. Desiderio Modestio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Leonel Santana made a huge save. Miren Bacheler hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Maguire. In the 72nd minute, Saturnino Albrecht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Zorros del Desierto booed when Vikingos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Mero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerry Maguire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nino Maravilha in the 87th minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Cordarrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Jerry Maguire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Cordarrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Maguire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Santana made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Desiderio Modestio sent off a good shot on target.
