Loco Team FC were furious when Haitz Licher was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Loco Team FC's Artal Fondos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Loco Team FC from getting a goal against them. Artal Fondos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Ignacio Berguecio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Loco Team FC's goalkeeper Artal Fondos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xulián Artaño. 14 minutes into the game, CRUZ DEL SUR's Reyes Fell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artal Fondos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 18th match minute, Loco Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dacio Tijera to maneuver through the defense. Ticho Anuncibay hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, Juan Manuel Vlahovic cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Artal Fondos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gorosti Moneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xulio Zaldua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godofredo Mac Intyre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gorosti Moneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Odol Rojas kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Artal Fondos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Podador Arraño in the 41st minute of play. Artal Fondos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xulián Artaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Xulián Artaño hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dacio Tijera made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Loco Team FC's zone, José Ignacio Berguecio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artal Fondos came out of the goal and José Ignacio Berguecio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artal Fondos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xulián Artaño in the 54th minute of play. Godofredo Mac Intyre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacio Tijera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Aaron Zamorano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artal Fondos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Loco Team FC booed when CRUZ DEL SUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odol Rojas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loco Team FC's Ruben Cardeñosa was substituted for Tiadoro Zalaeta. 68 minutes into the match, Loco Team FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Ignacio Berguecio came free, but Artal Fondos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of CRUZ DEL SUR booed when Loco Team FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ticho Anuncibay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gorosti Moneda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Godofredo Mac Intyre made a huge save. CRUZ DEL SUR's José Ignacio Berguecio got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dacio Tijera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Podador Arraño in the 85th minute of play forced Loco Team FC's goalkeeper Artal Fondos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dacio Tijera in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godofredo Mac Intyre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, Dacio Tijera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Godofredo Mac Intyre, 2-1. CRUZ DEL SUR's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
