Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) CRUZ DEL SUR's José Ignacio Berguecio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xulian Vegal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Manuel Vlahovic in the 6th minute of play. Roneros F.C.'s Xulian Vegal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xulián Artaño in the 17th minute of play. Godofredo Mac Intyre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ximenez Aller, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With an all-out effort, CRUZ DEL SUR's Xulian Vegal threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aaron Zamorano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 35 minutes, Ysmael Callergos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roneros F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ysmael Callergos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximenez Aller in the 36th minute of play forced CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Godofredo Mac Intyre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavier Castella charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xavier Castella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Roneros F.C.'s Gavica Zarzuelo got a free kick in the 39th minute. A hard shot 40 in the game by José Ignacio Berguecio from a close distance when the talented Xulian Vegal managed to make a qualified save. Roneros F.C.'s players were relieved. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ximenez Aller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ysmael Callergos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roneros F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ysmael Callergos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Mac Intyre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st match minute, CRUZ DEL SUR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Ignacio Berguecio to maneuver through the defense. Juan Manuel Vlahovic's late challenge caught a Roneros F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Manuel Vlahovic helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Roneros F.C. booed when CRUZ DEL SUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Manuel Vlahovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fortunato Mel kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Juan Manuel Vlahovic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xulian Vegal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 73rd match minute, CRUZ DEL SUR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Zamorano to maneuver through the defense. Xulian Vegal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xulián Artaño in the 76th minute of the match. Ximenez Aller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Godofredo Mac Intyre having to make a save. Godofredo Mac Intyre came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Roneros F.C.'s Danny Rubinos. But to his dismay, Danny Rubinos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in CRUZ DEL SUR's zone, Ximenez Aller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Mac Intyre came out of the goal and Ximenez Aller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th match minute, Roneros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ximenez Aller to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, José Ignacio Berguecio made a precise shot to the right of Xulian Vegal. Roneros F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Roneros F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CRUZ DEL SUR.
