Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Martin Pasqua successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Chivos de Punto Fijo defense, Timoteo Corderun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Pasqua. The Chivos de Punto Fijo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Pasqua should have stopped the shot. Gabriel Gay scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nemesio Bernal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Prudencio Claus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Martin Amenedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chivos de Punto Fijo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Lidon Bengoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Bernal having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Gay in the 25th minute of play forced Pakorro AFC's goalkeeper Nemesio Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Jose Gay pulled a muscle in his back after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Jorge Rocio fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pakorro AFC's protests and gave Jorge Rocio a yellow card for diving instead. Chivos de Punto Fijo made a substitution. Jeronimo Corrales replaced Jose Gay. After 31 played minutes Pakorro AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Rocio. In the 34th minute, Rosalio Azpiazu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nemesio Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Gay, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Gabriel Gay notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Pakorro AFC's Nemesio Bernal. Nemesio Bernal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Pakorro AFC booed when Chivos de Punto Fijo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bela Gayoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Paulino Alfebra hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Elpidio Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Chivos de Punto Fijo's Jeronimo Corrales got a free kick in the 79th minute. Gabriel Gay hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Timoteo Corderun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pakorro AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Corderun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Pakorro AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chivos de Punto Fijo's performance. The match ended with a win for Chivos de Punto Fijo.
