Baltasar Gaitan started the match with the kick off. Clodio Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Gaitan, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Gorosti in the 4th minute of play forced POZANTI SPOR's goalkeeper Clodio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodio Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Lugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, POZANTI SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Gaitan came free, but Clodio Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Gaitan in the 10th minute of play forced POZANTI SPOR's goalkeeper Clodio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Baldomero Gaitan fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cable a Tierra's protests and gave Baldomero Gaitan a yellow card for diving instead. Baldomero Gaitan kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. POZANTI SPOR's Clodio Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Gaitan in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes, Ahmet Bülent Vatansever mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the POZANTI SPOR and the Cable a Tierra players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to POZANTI SPOR getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ahmet Bülent Vatansever hit a great ball. Clodio Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Gaitan, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Victoriano Eztebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İdris Coşkun's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edelmiro Eriz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Clodio Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Gaitan in the 25th minute of the match. Eleuterio Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodio Taffarel having to interfere. In the 34th minute Baldomero Gaitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodio Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, POZANTI SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Gaitan came free, but Clodio Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 played minutes, Cable a Tierra's Eleuterio Ekain shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clodio Taffarel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cable a Tierra reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Gaitan in the 38th minute of play forced POZANTI SPOR's goalkeeper Clodio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th match minute, POZANTI SPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İbrahim Uğurlu to maneuver through the defense. POZANTI SPOR were furious when Doruk Ula was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Baldomero Gaitan made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by POZANTI SPOR's Bayhan Uluman. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

POZANTI SPOR's Clodio Taffarel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save POZANTI SPOR from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Fernan Lugo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. POZANTI SPOR's attentive Bayhan Uluman managed to snatch the ball when Baldomero Gaitan made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. Clodio Taffarel came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Cable a Tierra's Baltasar Gaitan. But to his dismay, Baltasar Gaitan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. İbrahim Uğurlu hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Ekain in the 73rd minute of play forced POZANTI SPOR's goalkeeper Clodio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cable a Tierra's zone, İbrahim Uğurlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Eriz came out of the goal and İbrahim Uğurlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the game, Nedim Bilgehan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. POZANTI SPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cable a Tierra the free kick. A collision led to POZANTI SPOR getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Nedim Bilgehan hit a great ball. Eusebio Gorosti had several of the POZANTI SPOR's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Clodio Taffarel as he didn't even see the shot coming. POZANTI SPOR's attentive Bayhan Uluman managed to snatch the ball when Baldomero Gaitan made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. 90 minutes into the match, POZANTI SPOR's goalkeeper Clodio Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltasar Gaitan. In the 90th minute, İbrahim Uğurlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cable a Tierra had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
