The long shot by Jonny Walters in the 3rd minute really tested Edelmiro Eriz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 6th minute, Egg Chasers FC's Chesney Wooding seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Chesney Wooding the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Egg Chasers FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Chesney Wooding had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 6th minute, one of Egg Chasers FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Egg Chasers FC. The referee gave Cable a Tierra a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Victoriano Eztebe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Egg Chasers FC's Bradley Longstaffe. 0-1. Cable a Tierra's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eleuterio Ekain in the 11th minute. Eleuterio Ekain made a great header on Cable a Tierra's corner, it was just that Egg Chasers FC's Bradley Longstaffe managed to reach the ball for a save. Egg Chasers FC's Bradley Longstaffe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Ekain in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Egg Chasers FC's Jeff Galloway got a free kick in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Gaitan came free, but Bradley Longstaffe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Victoriano Eztebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bradley Longstaffe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Gaitan in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Eusebio Gorosti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradley Longstaffe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Egg Chasers FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Dane Oldham hit a great ball. Bradley Longstaffe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Gaitan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Baltasar Gaitan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bradley Longstaffe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 38th minute, Dane Oldham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Gorosti in the 39th minute of play forced Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Bradley Longstaffe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonny Walters kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Bradley Longstaffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Gaitan in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Egg Chasers FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Byron Radcliffe hit a great ball. After the first half Cable a Tierra were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltasar Gaitan was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Baltasar Gaitan could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Bradley Longstaffe however easily saved by the left post. 53 minutes into the game, Cable a Tierra's Baltasar Gaitan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bradley Longstaffe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 56th minute, Baltasar Gaitan made a precise shot to the right of Bradley Longstaffe. Egg Chasers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 59 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Ekain. After a rather tough play, Egg Chasers FC's Dave Linkletter got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 61st minute of the match Eleuterio Ekain shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bradley Longstaffe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 63 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Gorosti. Egg Chasers FC's Bradley Longstaffe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Gorosti in the 69th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Eusebio Gorosti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bradley Longstaffe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Bradley Longstaffe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baltasar Gaitan's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Egg Chasers FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eleuterio Ekain was slow to take the kick. During this time Cable a Tierra's players had a chance to rest. Eleuterio Ekain made a great header on Cable a Tierra's corner, it was just that Egg Chasers FC's Bradley Longstaffe managed to reach the ball for a save. Bradley Longstaffe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Ekain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Gaitan came free, but Bradley Longstaffe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Egg Chasers FC's Bradley Longstaffe got control of the ball when Eusebio Gorosti tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cable a Tierra's Eleuterio Ekain got a free kick in the 89th minute. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dane Oldham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltasar Gaitan struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Bradley Longstaffe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cable a Tierra.
