After a rather tough play, Cable a Tierra's Eusebio Gorosti got a free kick in the 18th minute. Cable a Tierra's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eleuterio Ekain in the 22nd minute. The corner ended in Eleuterio Ekain almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Cafu Amaral did a great save. Cafu Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baltasar Gaitan's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltasar Gaitan in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cafu Amaral saved LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF from getting behind. After 30 minutes, Vágner Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF and the Cable a Tierra players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vágner Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Baltasar Gaitan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Cafu Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Gaitan in the 34th minute of play forced LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's goalkeeper Cafu Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arthur Paraíba fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's protests and gave Arthur Paraíba a yellow card for diving instead. Cable a Tierra made a substitution. Hugo Elixio replaced Fernan Lugo. Cafu Amaral came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Cable a Tierra's Baltasar Gaitan. But to his dismay, Baltasar Gaitan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltasar Gaitan in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cafu Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Cable a Tierra's Baltasar Gaitan in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's goalie prevented a goal. 47 minutes into the game, Eusebio Gorosti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cafu Amaral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltasar Gaitan was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Baltasar Gaitan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cafu Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Cafu Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Baltasar Gaitan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cafu Amaral was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Baltasar Gaitan scored 0-4 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cafu Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 81 in the game by Baltasar Gaitan from a close distance when the talented Cafu Amaral managed to make a qualified save. LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's players were relieved. Baltasar Gaitan made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 83rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Cafu Amaral would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. With an all-out effort, Cable a Tierra's Cafu Amaral threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Baltasar Gaitan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Baltasar Gaitan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Cafu Amaral 92 minutes into the match. When the match was over Cable a Tierra could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF throughout the match.
