Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tochi Oluwafemi got the match started through his kick off. Yoruba FC's Tochi Oluwafemi got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicodim Mangra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Hidrocarburo FC's Nicodim Mangra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodim Mangra in the 21st minute of play forced Yoruba FC's goalkeeper Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes of play, Hidrocarburo FC's Nicodim Mangra made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the game, Nicodim Mangra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ikem Iheagwam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauno Pirnes having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Ikedinachukwu Ekong mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yoruba FC and the Hidrocarburo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Yoruba FC got a freekick which was hit by Ikedinachukwu Ekong. With a little luck, Yoruba FC's Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo got control of the ball when Nemesio Sol tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Sol in the 41st minute of play forced Yoruba FC's goalkeeper Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tochi Oluwafemi's late challenge caught a Hidrocarburo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tochi Oluwafemi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Tochi Oluwafemi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nemesio Sol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Hidrocarburo FC's Kauno Pirnes got control of the ball when Eby Abodunrin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 58 played minutes Yoruba FC got a freekick which was hit by Tochi Oluwafemi. Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicodim Mangra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Nicodim Mangra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hidrocarburo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. A collision led to Yoruba FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ime Sunday Erukpeme hit a great ball. Hidrocarburo FC's Nemesio Sol got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kahlil Suwandi scored 5-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Yoruba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Sol came free, but Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Nicodim Mangra made a precise shot to the right of Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo. Yoruba FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. The supporters of Yoruba FC booed when Hidrocarburo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Fabiani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kauno Pirnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ikem Iheagwam in the 91st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ime Sunday Erukpeme during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hidrocarburo FC booed when Yoruba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ime Sunday Erukpeme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kahlil Suwandi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo. Yoruba FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Hidrocarburo FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
