In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Union Transvaal's goalkeeper Sizwe Bartlett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 4th minute of the match SuperCombinado got a corner. Union Transvaal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alejo Veremundo ran over to the corner to take the kick. SuperCombinado's Alejo Veremundo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sizwe Bartlett in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When James Mandla fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Union Transvaal's protests and gave James Mandla a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Union Transvaal getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. James Mandla hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Union Transvaal's goalkeeper Sizwe Bartlett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejo Veremundo. Leonard Zurawski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thami Klaasens in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Union Transvaal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Takalani Manyethela to maneuver through the defense. Sizwe Bartlett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melchor Che in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, SuperCombinado's 彭朋 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 21st minute of the game Takalani Manyethela made a throw-in which Thami Klaasens played forward. Leonard Zurawski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thami Klaasens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melchor Che recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Union Transvaal's goalkeeper Sizwe Bartlett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melchor Che. After 30 minutes of play, SuperCombinado's 彭朋 made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sizwe Bartlett was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Union Transvaal getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Thami Klaasens hit a great ball. Sizwe Bartlett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 彭朋 in the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Union Transvaal's goal looked a bit too open when 彭朋 came free, but Sizwe Bartlett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchor Che who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Sizwe Bartlett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Tristan Thaier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Union Transvaal's supporters rose to their feet, but Tristan Thaier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonard Zurawski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melchor Che was the one to do the kick off. Sizwe Bartlett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 彭朋 in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match SuperCombinado got a corner. Union Transvaal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alejo Veremundo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on SuperCombinado's corner Alejo Veremundo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sizwe Bartlett quite easily take care of the ball. Thiago Helguera charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thiago Helguera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Union Transvaal booed when SuperCombinado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Helguera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sizwe Bartlett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Che in the 65th minute of play. Sizwe Bartlett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 彭朋's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. When SuperCombinado's 彭朋 in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Union Transvaal's goalie prevented a goal. When Tristan Thaier fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Union Transvaal's protests and gave Tristan Thaier a yellow card for diving instead. Tristan Thaier kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Union Transvaal's Sizwe Bartlett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Che in the 72nd minute of play. James Mandla got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Union Transvaal getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. James Mandla hit a great ball. The SuperCombinado fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when SuperCombinado's 彭朋 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sizwe Bartlett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 彭朋, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes Union Transvaal got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Nunes. Sizwe Bartlett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 彭朋 in the 85th minute of play. If 彭朋 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Robert Unesson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sizwe Bartlett having to make a save. 93 minutes into the game, SuperCombinado's Robert Unesson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sizwe Bartlett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. When the referee ended the match the SuperCombinado players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
