When Yoruba FC's Tochi Oluwafemi in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Amado Domenec showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 39 played minutes Tiburones got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Eder. After a rather tough play, Tiburones's Eulalio Eder got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Eddie Hultman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eddie Hultman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Prospero Benvido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tiburones fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Isidoro Garaile with Luis Azubeli as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Amado Domenec came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Tiburones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Domenec couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute, Amado Domenec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Anibal Cordoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tochi Oluwafemi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute Tochi Oluwafemi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, one of Tiburones:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 86 minutes into the match, Chiazago Akinola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anibal Cordoba. Tiburones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chiazago Akinola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Prospero Benvido scored 5-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Tiburones getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Luis Azubeli hit a great ball. Tiburones's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
